Sunday, after we left mom, Ron & I commented on how pleased we are that we found you. If we had let Virginia continue on the path she was heading down, I can only imagine what her life would be like. She most likely would be in some type of nursing home facility by now.
As it is now, when we saw her on Sunday, she was clean, her hair was pretty, her nails were polished and she was wearing nice clothes, her favorite earrings and necklace. Your staff has even learned how to make her eyebrows look like she likes them. All these details add so much to the quality of her life and we thank you for that.
She loves your cooking. Sorry to say she would love anybody’s cooking! We often laugh about this, since mealtime and snack time are her favorite times of the day.
We know that you are in touch personally with Mayo Clinic concerning her care that her medical needs are followed precisely. We have received compliments from her diabetic nurse at Mayo about your concern for her proper care. As with most jobs, the thank you’s are often forgotten so we just wanted to let you know how much we appreciate all you do for Virginia and for us.

After researching and visiting many adult care homes, Patti and I feel very lucky to have found the Colten’s. Our Mom could not be in better hands. She is happy and participates in many of the daily events for the residents. We no longer worry about her safety or if she is being taken care of. She is happy there and we are very happy as well. We would strongly recommend Colton Adult Care for any family that is looking for a wonderful home for their parent.
